You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/LABOR RELATIONS) in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS GROUP, TOTAL FORCE (TF), STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will act as management advisor for labor relations issues in organizations with a wide variety of employees.
- You will deal with relationships between management and unions, which may include difficult and adversarial relations.
- You will act as technical advisor on controversial and complex Unfair Labor Practices and grievances.
- You will provide advice and assistance in the area of discipline, adverse actions, grievances, employee counseling and related functions.
- You will gather background information.
- You will interpret facts and events, and identifies aggravating or mitigating factors relevant to cases.
