SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ELECTRONICS ENGINEER/ COMPUTER SCIENTIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Branch Head / Supervisory Interdisciplinary Electronics Engineer/Computer Scientist in the Engineering Solutions Division in the Digital Networks & Applications Department (DNA) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as the Branch Head providing engineering/computer science subject matter expertise.
• You will provide classified and unclassified architecture, design and service engineering/computer science support for network and infrastructure solutions.
• You will provide architecture and engineering solutions for LAN and WAN on premise and cloud architectures.
• You will provide classified and unclassified system solutions, hardware and software engineering support. Solutions designed/engineered by this team impact specific sets of systems (client and server).
• You will provide classified and unclassified project management for cloud and on premise computer science/engineering solutions, infrastructure, hosting, and lab support.
• You will manage project architecture for infrastructure, network, boundary security, systems administration, and hosting of systems and applications.
• You will facilitate and execute complex customer requirements and platforms that are reliant on the engineering community.
• You will provide the day-to-day tasking and technical direction/oversight for the efforts of a large team of technical and functional specialists, computer scientists and engineers in architecture, design and service engineering in the Department.
