PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT)

Position Description

You will serve as a Production Controller (Aircraft) in the branch of a workload control and assignment (6.2.2), of the Production Department of FLTREADCEN EAST. This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will receive aircraft components, engine parts, and accessories in the control center or ASKARS and examine them for condition and completeness.
• You will investigate reasons for delays.
• You will monitor and expedite flow of material or parts through feeder shops and transact status of components.
• You will receive, verify, and examine work order documents for accuracy and completeness.
• You will determine when material and parts are required.
