Position Description

You will serve as a in the AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST in the Maintenance Department of Commander, Naval Test Wing Pacific, (NTWP) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU. Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will plan, direct, and administer the operation of the Maintenance Department assigned to NTWP.
• You will advise the Wing Maintenance Officer on aircraft readiness, maintenance safety, aircraft assignments and configuration, ordnance and weapons systems readiness, aeronautical materials, and all matters pertaining to the maintenance of aircraft.
• You will perform program management functions by developing and evaluating long- and short-range support plans and policies.
• You will coordinate overall logistics plans for all assigned aircraft to include operational implementation with any newly acquired T/M/S, and program oversight of the Integrated Maintenance Process.
• You will determine outfitting milestones, goals and priorities for assignment of critical systems and budgetary concerns in order to meet test time lines.
