INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

Position Description

You will serve as the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Chief Engineer (CHENG) in the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AEA of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will act as the technical decision authority for all systems implemented within the AEA IPT and provide Systems Engineering oversight to ensure the AEA IPT produces products that meet warfighter requirements.
• You will assist the IPT Lead and BFMs with preparation of IPT budgets.
• You will assist IPT Lead in the successful execution of tasking assigned to the IPT balancing schedules, resources and priorities between other IPT tasks and across other NAWCWD projects.
• You will remain abreast of all system issues related to performance, cost, and schedule and keeping the IPT Lead apprised of any issues or concerns that arise.
• You will maintain a working knowledge of IPT-managed contracts and associated deliverables.
• You will actively participate in engineering forums to increase team awareness of enterprise tools and capabilities while also providing the forums insight into lessons learned.
