***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a SHEET METAL MECHANIC (AIRCRAFT) LEADER in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT (ST3) of FRC WESTPAC DET IWAKUNI.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will perform complex and unusually complicated aspects of sheet metal and composite work, assist engineering personnel or independently develop and construct one-of-a-kind prototype repairs.
• You will adapt shop practices to the disassembly, modification and/or repairs and reassembly of complex aircraft structures and components such as bulkhead, spars, stringers, longerons, aircraft control surfaces, ribs, gussets, skins, etc.
• You will be responsible for passing the instructions received from FRC WESTPAC supervisor to assigned employees.
• You will assign work in accordance with priorities established by the supervisor, and ensures that employees fully understand and properly carry out the supervisor?s directives and instructions.
