ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Test Engineering & Operations Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

You will work in a team environment for the Ordnance Test and Evaluation Division to preform nondestructive testing, equipment and facility maintenance, and other tasks as assigned.
You will support a variety of tests including x-ray radiography, computed radiography/tomography, radiography, image interpretation, visual inspection, physical dimensioning, ordnance handling/hauling, and the use of heavy equipment and cranes.
You will be responsible for interpreting x-ray images and documenting the results.
You will be required to safely conduct explosive and industrial operations, work in accordance with test procedures, monitor test setups, and provide reports to team leads, project engineers, and customers.
